This artist who attends Ringling down in sarasota has been cut off by her parents in some attempt to make her quit college and come home. Her roommate/ has started a project called Derp Dogs With Heart to help raise money for her to continue living and eating in sarasota (since ringling has already been paid for this year) will be offering sketches for donations and I have decided to also help out with illustrations- so my commissions are open at the moment.

Someone who gets accepted to Ringling is just an OUTSTANDING artist, and should be allowed to continue their education. Don't believe me? Check out their gallery. It's beautiful- and I'm going to do what i can to help. If you cannot afford a commission then PLEASE spread this message.

To everyone who reported deviations by It's much appreciated, but she's still on deviantart, and still stealing art- the problem is now, I don't know from where.

There's several pieces in question and was wondering if you guys could help out and do some leg work. She may very well be stealing art from other communities, so if you go on these sites, or if anything looks familiar please report the deviations.


It feels like art has become a very diluted craft. If people are able to steal lineart and then call it art, I'm not so sure if I want to be in this industry. It's just sickening.


So again- thanks a bunch I really appreciate it, and hopefully if we can find the stolen pieces, then we can get her banned off D.A.

But not mine. Nor do I want people to go flocking to this person's page, flaming them and telling them how useless they are or whatever...blah blah. Being disrespectful will only make things worse, and nor is it a good way to stop someone efficiently from stealing others' work. So if that's going to be your intention: leave now.

The original deviant of the stolen piece has reported the deviation as a violation, but the admins believe that the piece is different enough to be considered their own.

I however, disagree with the admins, and hope that if enough people report this deviation and perhaps others in the gallery, then they will take the pieces down. I wouldn't normally be so gung-ho about this but..

The thief has posted up the stolen work as a print- to be sold. It feels like this sort of thing needs to be stopped now, or else a whole new wave of art theft will begin, where if people just change the color of a character it's there's. It's not art.

So please. Be kind, but report this deviation.

Granted things are changed, but if you place the lineart of the body on top of the original, it's the same (minus the eyes and ears.) Our goal however, shouldn't be to deter the person from creating art ever again, but to correct them and teach them to ask for permission to use these things.

Soooo...


Since was kind enough to let me borrow a scanner for the summer, I shall be doing a (detailed) sketch of a project I've had knocking around my head for about 4 years.

I figured since it hasn't gone away by now, it's not going to, so the least I can do is let the project take it's first steps, and see if it decides to walk from there....

Unless I get lazy in which case I'll push it down the stairs and then violently beat it with a lead pipe. Hopefully though that won't happen.

To give you some information if I get serious about this it may be (one day off in the distance) a web comic. But as it sits, right now, it's a short comic.

No wolves, no dragons....also no people (as of now...) but that could change.

This isn't meant to be anything serious- right now the watered down version is this (oh so generic but hopefully fun) There are 8 elements. Light, Dark, Ice, Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Lightning. Each of these elements is represented by a different group of animals, whose job is to guard these elements and to keep each other in balance so that well...shit doesnt get screwed up.

Well, certain spirits within these groups of animals have decided to cause some shit, the elements are unbalanced and it's up to a main character to speak with each of the Elders; (the head of each of the elements) persuade them to join him, so that things can get corrected. Vague, but I'm too lazy to type right now.

So there, that's where I'm at.
